Just in case there was any doubt that the great guilt trip that is Anthropogenic Global Warming is not just brimming with opportunities for governments forever looking to broaden their tax base and reduce services - for the good of the planet of course - consider: (1) The Flat Screen Curb. (2) The Cow Tax. BTW the Kiwis managed to get the 'fart tax' dropped in 2003. But who would like to bet it won't be back...?
