How ironic.
2CC "dismiss" you because they were fools, now you're back on 2CC because the Big Sister says so.
Good to be able to catch up with you again.

Good to hear you again. Always thought you were a big fish in a little pond at 2CC.

You bounce nicely off Clive when the occasion arises, however, i think your best work is done solo.

Take it easy.

Gday Mike, It is excellent to have you back on the wireless again, I heard you for the first time in many years on 2UE last night and I will be listening in again tonight to see if you are on again. I was very disappoint when you did your last shift at the other place where a blokes word and hand shake is all but it seems to be a one way street. I love radio and have all my life and I always enjoyed your look at this great land and how things are going. I dont agree with all you say but if I was just into listening to a yes man and being served up a black and white look at what is going on I would not see the full spectrum of colour that makes our great southern land. Well Mike thats all for now, have a great shift and I will be listening. Regards Richard Fox

Hi Mike

Listened to our local radio here at midnight where I now am and surprise, surprise it was your first night doing the dog watch on Sydney radio. Heard you speak to Lon - I guess he doesn't know when to give it a rest.

I have no regrets leaving my home town Canberra. I suppose you don't mind too much too. Any town that elects 4 greenies in the Legislative Assembly and enpowers Stanhope to continue in his ways, deserves everything it gets.

Anyways, will tune in from time to time and am very pleased that you're back on air.

Regards

With reference to your question in early hours of this morning , Mike , "do you think Kevin Rudd actually DID anything with regards to the container ship etc " ? my answer is NO...as soon as I heard the usual 1 , 2, 3 , with the fingers moving , I knew another spin was afoot.....
You have a very entertaining and informative session , Mike : keep up the good work ....God bless ...Margaret.....[ I am the woman who rang several nights ago , to tell you I had been " polled " by some marketing company ].

Hello Mike, It's been so good to hear you once again on the radio. As well, to listen to your exchanges with callers around a larger network such as this one apparently covers. The very best to you and I hope this gig has a goodly duration of time frame for you,and perhaps at some point in the future, another daylight time slot.

Great to have MJ back on the airwaves - I was aghast when he was replaced at 2CC...like removing a thorny rose and replacing it with a dandelion.

you back in morning drive time or pm would do, so can you work on that??

Since you were taken off air I have resorted to

Mike.
Up till a week ago I was listening to Jim Ball at that time. As I remember, you were the man who recommended him quite a while ago. I still read his blog on the web, and he has just mysteriously left his station & we were waiting for him to reappear. He has identical views on global warming etc, to you. Anyway, I'm looking forward to tonight.

Ciao

Gee Mike, I am sure that when folk asked when you would be on radio again - I'm sure they meant WHEN THEY COULD HEAR YOU! We'll all be in bed - hopefully asleep - at that time!!

Had a great surprise when I was listening to 2CC on Sunday night to hear that you would be on air at 12.00 midnight, still not as good as hearing you on morning radio ( to hard to stay awake)

Hi Mike. It is great to know you are back on air and I look forward to listening to your balanced views and intelligent political comments again. We miss you on morning radio in Canberra, however it appears that being a talkback radio presenter based in Canberra is akin to walking through a minefield and is fraught with danger. Fortunately, we still have some conservative views broadcast from Sydney to balance the insular socialist left-wing thinking in this company town. Best wishes for your continued success.

It was great to hear you this morning.

I was disappointed when Jim Ball pulled the pin but terrific to see you took his place.

I have always turned 2cc off between 5.30 to 9.00 since you departed....just cannot stand the bloke.

Bet it won't be long and Lon will be calling you, if he already hasn't.

Good luck Mike

How wonderful it was to wake up in the middle of the night to hear you once again on the radio. Canberra radio isn't the same since you parted company with 2cc. I wish you all the best and will look forward to hear you again tonight.

I woke this morning at 5.00am and heard "And now back to Mike Jeffreys" or something like that. I said to my husband "Did you hear that or am I dreaming?" Yippee, I wasn't but am I only going to get 30 minutes each day? I could get up earlier but it will be hard. Anyway, 2UE couldn't have found a better replacement for Jim Ball. Congratulations Mike. How about replacing dopey Tim Webster next and we can get quality radio back at a decent hour!

It was really refreshing to hear Mike Jeffreys on air overnight. I thought that my insomnia might be cured without Jim Ball but now Mike has reignited that same insomnia. It was just so good to hear Mike on 2ue. Mike your a Star!
